Community Care

We’re an environmentally conscious bunch at Annabel Trends. So on February 28, 2023, we stepped up to the challenge to participate in Clean Up Australia day, to give our local streets some love. Something we look forward to every year, to be part of our wonderful community.
With our trusty gloves and hessian bags in hand, we joined thousands of Australians in the annual big clean up. We broke up into two teams to scour our local streets. Together we collected 3 bags of recyclable material and 5 bags of general waste. We really hit the jackpot when we found a bunch of bike tyres.

On March 4, we joined the march to raise awareness to the affects and risks of Melanoma. With our Aussie sun, the rates of Melanoma are on the rise, and we need to be so mindful of the time we spend in the outdoors. All proceeds that were raised for the event, go towards funding clinical trials.

Melanoma March began as a community fundraising event in 2012 when Manly local, James Economides, wanted to raise awareness and funds in honour of his son, Michael, who passed away from melanoma in 2008. Michael was just 20-years-old.
“Back in 2008, there was little they could do, so we wanted to help raise money for much needed clinical trials so no other family would have to go through what we went through.”

Here at Annabel Trends, we are proud to support and give back to the community, through various forms of donations, to many local and national charities. We wholeheartedly believe in supporting the community that supports us, and have chosen a variety of charities to share our love and happiness with.
