For 60 years, Annabel Trends has been bringing colour, creativity and happiness to Australia’s gift industry.
Since our beginnings in Melbourne in 1966, we’ve grown from a small family business into a much-loved Australian gifting brand, creating bright, bold and giftable products found in stores across Australia and beyond.
Throughout that journey, gift fairs have always held a special place in our story.
Six decades on the trade fair floor
Over the years, Annabel Trends has proudly exhibited at countless gift trade shows in Melbourne and Sydney. These events have given us the opportunity to unveil new collections, showcase fresh Australian designs and connect face-to-face with the retailers who bring our products to life in their stores.
From carefully packing products and building our earliest displays to creating the colourful, immersive stands we’re known for today, every trade fair has marked another chapter in the Annabel Trends story.
Looking back at our stand from 2004, the products and presentation may have changed, but the heart of Annabel Trends remains the same: thoughtful products, creative design and a genuine love of gifting.
The people behind the products
Trade fairs have never been only about products. They’re about people.
They’ve allowed us to build enduring relationships with generations of retailers, agents, designers and industry friends. They’re where new partnerships begin, familiar faces return and ideas are shared across the stand.
Many of the businesses we have met at Melbourne and Sydney gift fairs have gone on to become long-standing Annabel Trends stockists. Some have been part of our journey for decades, growing and evolving alongside us.
Those relationships have helped shape who we are today - and they remain one of the things we value most.

While trends have evolved across six decades, our commitment to original Australian design has remained at the centre of the brand.
Today, our collections span gifting, homewares, garden, wellness, fashion accessories and lifestyle products. We continue to develop products that are practical, joyful and made to be given, shared and enjoyed.
We’re also proud to offer a curated Australian Made collection and to collaborate with talented Australian artists and designers.
From much-loved classics to unexpected new ideas, our goal has always been to create products that bring a little more happiness to everyday life.
Celebrating 60 years in Melbourne
This August, we’re returning to where our story began to celebrate our 60th anniversary at Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne.
Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 8–12 August 2026, the fair will bring together Australia’s gift and homewares industry for five inspiring days of connection, discovery and new-season launches.
Visitors will be among the first to explore our new Spring/Summer 2026–27 collection, discover our latest Australian-designed products and celebrate this very special milestone with the Annabel Trends team.
